Events

We currently don’t have any special events arranged but in the following months we are planing the following:

‘Meet the distiller’ – distillers will talk about their distillery, the distilling process, botanicals used, their range and recommended ‘perfect serves’. No doubt there will be free tasters samples and discounts on bottles bought on the night.
Sample days – Distillers will be invited to spend the day in the store, handing out free taster samples and offering exclusive deals to Durham Ginstitute customers.

Meet the Distiller

We host regular gatherings with the artisan distillers who produce the great tasting gins we stock. Get a chance to taste, chat and experience gin directly with the small batch distillers who make our gins.

Sample Days

Gin Tastings

Come and relax with your friends at our bar and enjoy a 4 course gin tasting experience @£25/person.

Choose from 3 different options:

4 x Traditional Dry Gins
4 x Flavoured Gins
4 x Mixed Gins (2 x Dry and 2 x Flavoured)

Go Large? Upgrade to double measures @£40/person.

We choose the gins from our vast range and expertly pair them with one of our quality tonics. Snacks (crisps) are also provided along with some free taster samples.

We can cater for groups of up to 12 people. Min 2 people required for an afternoon tasting and 4 for an evening. Tastings last approximately 2hrs.

Private Gin Bar Hire

A unique location to hold a celebration or catch up with friends and family. There is no hire charge, simply pay for drinks as you go. Min/Max numbers apply as per tastings.
